Regan Robertson December 17, 1993 - September 6, 2018

It is with great sadness that we share the death of one of our beloved actors, Regan L. Robertson, who died suddenly Thursday morning. She recently gave a stellar performance as Mrs. Salt in our production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and also played a phenomenal Wicked Witch in our production of The Wizard of Oz in 2016. Even more than a fine actress, she was a dear friend and role model to our youth actors. With a kind, cheerful spirit, she wanted everyone around her to feel loved and valued. Even when she wasn't performing in an Encore! show, she attended events to support and cheer on the kids from the audience.

Regan's eagerness to help people was a special blessing backstage at our shows. She was so kind and helpful to all the youth actors, helping them look and feel their best so they could go nail their performances onstage. That's what Regan did for us in life. Her beautiful and vibrant spirit may have only blessed us for a short while, but she prepared all of us in her own way to get out there and give life our best performances while she continues to cheer us on from Heaven, life's "backstage."

Regan, we love you and will miss you greatly.

Regan's obituary and funeral arrangements are available at: www.stanleysfuneralhome.com/memsol.cgi?user_id=2134387

We will be at both services, if our Encore! Family would like to sit together for love and support. Parents, if your child performed in a show with Regan, we encourage you to talk with him/her. How we, as adults, manage ourselves serves as an important model for helping kids handle tragedies like this. It is important that they know they are loved and supported as they talk about their feelings. If they want to attend the funeral, we encourage you or another adult to accompany them.
